When Mali came to us, she was a nervous wreck – going outside was a no-go and my partner couldn’t even touch her. She had wounds from her time on the streets, which told us more than we wanted to know about her past. But over time, she grew into the calm, wonderful dog she is now – officially a foster fail!

Cosima was our lovebug – she’d purr the second you touched her. She was incredibly quick to warm up and now has the best life she could ever have hoped for.

Where do I even start with Evi? She’s a total tornado, but the sweetest one you’ll ever meet. She insists on being near me at all times and even demands to be picked up! I’ve never met a cat quite like her – she’s the dream cat.

Cleo – formerly Blancota – is a dog unlike any I’ve ever met. So calm, so quiet, simply present. She has so much love to give, even though she still has to learn the basics of being a dog. Walks? Not for Cleo – she’d much rather sleep. She truly is an absolute little princess.

Socks is destined to be a real heartbreaker. For the first weeks, I could only watch him through the camera – he was that terrified. Then one day, he looked at me, purring, and just like that the ice was broken. Since then, he hasn’t left my side.
